CoFI workshop at ETAPS'99 in Amsterdam, 27-28 March 1999

Dear CoFI friends,

I have received some questions about what exactly CoFI WG will pay in 
connection with attendance at the CoFI workshop at ETAPS'99.

Although the workshop is a satellite of ETAPS'99, it is not
justifiable to cover attendance at all of ETAPS'99 from CoFI WG funds.
But we have special permission to cover the ETAPS registration fee in
addition to the costs of attending the CoFI workshop.

So, for eligible people who have received permission from a working group
coordinator to attend, the following can be paid:

  travel to/from Amsterdam
  ETAPS registration + CoFI workshop registration
  travel in Amsterdam while attending CoFI workshop
  hotel Friday - Sunday maximum
  meals Friday evening - Monday morning maximum

In particular, the following CANNOT be paid:

  hotel while attending the rest of ETAPS
  ETAPS banquet ticket
  tutorials
  other satellite events
  extra proceedings volumes

Anybody who fits the eligibility criteria for "TMR support for young
researchers" (see the ETAPS'99 web page) is strongly encouraged to
apply for such support.
